The Maple Road Dental Practice in Manchester was founded in 1954 by dentist Mr Geoff Harper and is a NHS dental practice with strong roots in the local Manchester community. Mr Pip Thomas bought the practice in 1981 and followed on from Mr Harper building the practice to its current size incorporating disabled access.

Principal dentist Ian Hunt bought the Manchester practice in 1999. Since then it has undergone a thorough modernisation with the reception area being upgraded for better comfort and access. The practice is mixed NHS and Private and has until recently not been accepting any new patients on the NHS. The Manchester practice accepts Manchester Private dental patients  with Denplan

The practice has however been approved by the NHS as a training practice for a newly qualified dentist. Dentist Stephen Roberts joined us in 2006 he  has now become a valued member of the team. He continues to care for existing patients and is currently accepting new patients to the Manchester practice. Craig Jack joined us in December 2007

Manchester dentists Ian Hunt, dentist Pip Thomas, dentist Jill Jagger, dentist Stephen Roberts and dentist Craig Jack will only accept new patients on a private basis being able to offer a wider choice of treatments, better materials and more convenient appointment times (Saturday mornings and evenings) Dentist Mark Edmondson is able to offer surgical dentistry and dental implants at affordable prices to our patients and outside referrals.

We also offer a wide range of private treatment from white fillings to crowns, bridges and dental implants Manchester.

The Manchester dental practice currently has a patient base of 8000+ patients served by 5 dentists, 4 Hygienists and a dedicated team of qualified dental nurses. The Manchester practice has expanded into other avenues of treatment and now has two Part Time State Registered Podiatrist/Chiropodist offering advice and treatment for any foot problems .
